Ruth abandoned her law degree to become a model but returned to education soon afterwards, completing both a first class honours degree in Literature and an MA in creative writing whilst travelling the world as a model.
Now with 20 years’ experience in the beauty and fashion industry, Ruth’s audience values her honest reviews, witty writing style and beautifully shot content which strikes the perfect balance between aspirational and accessible.
Her debut book,
How Not to be a Supermodel, was published by Blink Publishing in 2024 to great acclaim, and 2025 will see the publication of the paperback edition.
Ruth is an ambassador for industry giants Aveeno and has partnered with household brands including L’Oreal, Sainsbury’s Beauty and Superdrug to share her expertise via digital content, panel talks and live shopping platforms.
Ruth is a mother to her two children and in her spare time, enjoys home interior and renovation projects such as @thedorsetnook, her idyllic holiday cottage in Dorset.
